What’s the difference between SaaS and a perpetual license?
SaaS is an annual subscription with no ops burden. The perpetual license is a one-time on-premises authorization (Lite/Standard/Professional = 3× the annual fee, Flagship = 2.5×) plus an 18% annual maintenance & support fee covering patches, minor and major upgrades, and remote support. Subscriptions cost less within 5 years; perpetual wins for long-term use.
Is upgrading between editions painful? Do we need to migrate data?
No. Upgrades are purely additive: import a new license certificate and it takes effect instantly — more modules, higher capacity, zero data migration.
What deployment options are available?
SaaS public cloud is the list price. Private cloud (your cloud environment) adds 15%, hybrid cloud adds 20%, and fully on-premises is sold as a perpetual license.
What payment terms and discounts do you offer?
SaaS is prepaid annually (quarterly billing available). Perpetual licenses follow a 3-3-3-1 installment plan; implementation fees are 5-4-1. Sign for 3 years for 10% off, 5 years for 15% off; prepaying 3 years of perpetual maintenance lowers the rate to 15%.
